In 2016, we were entrusted by China Oilfield Services Limited to translate some oilfield exploration and development manuals. There are a total of 24 manuals, involving some 800,000 Chinese words. The client needed the translation urgently as the manuals were needed to train foreign staff. As the manuals were highly technical, before we kicked off, we seriously studied all files and picked out all the technical terms. After giving English translation to each word, we sent the glossary to all responsible translators. As a result every translator performed excellently and the client commended the work as very professional.
